Hi, Everyone! I hope that you all enjoyed your Valentine's Day, and that you got to do something special and spent it with those you love most! We had a wonderful one! I love Valentine's Day. You see, my husband and I started dating back in high school and when it was time for us to go off to college, I moved to London and he moved to Pennsylvania which meant that there was a whole big ocean between us for a couple years! We used to fly back and forth to see each other every couple of months, and it was always so sad if we weren't able to spend special holidays together, especially Valentine's Day! And that's why I love Valentine's Day so much now that we're married and together, it's just that much more special! Even after all these years (it's been more than eight years now...!) he's still my favorite Valentine!

Beautiful Annapolis, where we spent Valentine's Day.
By the harbor in Annapolis.
It was a cold day, but the sun was shining, and it was such a beautiful sunset over the harbor.
We went to the Chart House for dinner. I've never been there before and absolutely loved it! Their seafood was incredibly delicious, and the restaurant itself was so pretty because it had a beautiful view of the harbor and all the boats.
My DELICIOUS dinner, Salmon Rockefeller! Salmon stuffed with lump crab, creamy spinach and bacon over a Bearnaise sauce, with orzo and asparagus... AMAZING!
As amazing as the entree was, I think I liked the dessert even better (as I always do!) This warm apple cherry crisp with vanilla ice-cream and caramel sauce was to die for! You have to order it 30 minutes in advance so that they can make it for you, and it was definitely the best apple crisp I've ever had! Absolutely delicious!
